Safe, private, and honest about what it is.

A companion only works if you can trust it. These are the rules we build to, and test in code before every release.

Your words stay yours

• What you say is never sold and never shared.
• It is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.
• Your companion remembers only what you allow. You can read, correct or clear its memory at any time.
• Download everything, or delete your account and all of it, from your account.

Adults only

Kwik L’IRIS is for people aged 18 and over. Everyone confirms their age when they create an account.

Care, before anything else

If a message suggests someone may be thinking of suicide or self-harm, a card with real crisis lines appears before the reply: 988 in the United States, Samaritans 116 123 in the UK and Ireland, Tele-MANAS 14416 in India, 800 HOPE (800 4673) in the UAE, and findahelpline.com everywhere else. The companion answers with warmth, never describes means, and encourages a call and a trusted person. These messages are never blocked by a plan.

Between members, in the Messenger

• You are found only by your handle or your Iris Code. Nobody is listed, and nobody can write to you before you say yes.
• Every message says who wrote it: the member, or the member with their companion. A companion never writes on its own.
• Block anyone, end any connection, or report a message, at any time. A person reads every report, and sees only the message reported and the five before it.
• Nobody at the house reads your conversations, and messages are kept encrypted.

Honest about being an AI

Your companion is an AI. It says so if you ask. It is not a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser, and for serious health, legal or money questions it helps you prepare and points you to a qualified person.

Your iris is not a scan

Nothing about your body is collected. Your iris is an original work of art, grown once from a unique seed and never repeated. A registry of every iris we have grown makes sure of it.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your first payment is refundable in full within 14 days.
