Billing questions
Is it free?
Designing and saving your companion is free, and you get 10 messages to meet it. To talk every day, choose Plus ($12 a month) or Pro ($29 a month). Yearly plans give you two months free.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes, at any time, from the Plans page. Moving up takes effect at once and you pay only the difference. Moving down gives you credit for the unused time. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Your first payment is refundable in full within 14 days.
How does the Family plan work?
One person pays, and four adults talk. You keep one seat and give three by email; each person accepts in their own account and has Plus for as long as the plan runs. Every seat is private: nobody on the plan, the payer included, sees another person’s companion, memory or conversations. You can take a seat back, and anyone can leave, at any time.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Yes: in US dollars, Indian rupees, UAE dirhams or pounds sterling. The page shows the money of where you are, and you can change it under the plans. Outside the dollar prices, the price you see is the price you pay, taxes included. The prices in rupees are for cards issued in India.
Which cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and most debit cards, through Stripe. In India, card renewals follow the RBI e-mandate rules: your bank tells you before each renewal.
What is the Founding Member mark?
The first yearly Pro members receive a Founding Member mark on their companion’s certificate and keep their price for as long as their plan runs without a break.
